Medytox announced on the 10th that the skin improvement effect of ‘M.Biome-BT’, a core ingredient of NEURODERMA cosmetic brand ‘Neuraderm’, was published in the SCI-level academic journal ‘JCD (Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology).’
The paper included the results of an in vitro test(cell level) to determine the effect of M.Biome-BT on improving skin function.
In this test, M.Biome-BT showed a high cell survival rate of 87.2% in a skin irritation test using a human epidermis model and did not cause cytotoxicity. The raw material had a higher anti-wrinkle effect compared to the control group, and the results showed that it inhibited the secretion of norepinephrine more than twice as much as Argireline (acetyl hexapeptide), which is used as a cosmetic ingredient.
In addition, M.Biome-BT was shown to help whitening by reducing the amount of melanin in keratinocytes to 76-85% compared to the control group.

M.Biome-BT and M.Biome-BTi are peptide ingredients independently developed and patented by Medytox. Medytox plans to meet the skin improvement needs of various consumers by developing proprietary raw materials that are effective in skin regeneration, whitening, and antioxidants.

논문에는 해당 원료의 생체 외 실험(세포 수준)결과가 실렸다. 실험 결과 엠바이옴 비티는 사람 표피 모델을 이용한 피부 자극 테스트에서 87.2%의 높은 세포 생존율을 나타냈으며, 세포 독성은 유발되지 않았다.
노르에피네프린과 도파민과 같은 신경전달 물질의 분비를 대조군 대비 각각 62%, 40% 수준으로 감소시켜 주름개선 효과를 보였다. 멜라닌을 운송하는 역할을 하는 멜라노좀의 각질 세포 이동을 방해해 세포 외 멜라닌양도 대조군 대비 76~85% 수준으로 감소시켰다.

엠바이옴 비티는 메디톡스가 독자적으로 개발한 펩타이드 성분으로 신경전달 물질인 아세틸콜린의 분비를 저해하는 펩타이드와 세포투과 펩타이드(CPP)로 구성되어 있다.
